Dear Saath team and collaborators, please read on for a message from the American Diabetes Association:


A few weeks ago, you received an email from the American Diabetes Association, asking for your help in the dissemination of a survey to South Asian Americans living with type 2 diabetes. Our survey is now live and we continue to ask for your assistance in promoting this survey to your constituents.

We are commited to developing a program that will best meet the needs of South Asian Americans living with type 2 diabetes. However, in order to do so, we need to learn what the community feels they need.

If you could help spread the word about this survey, we would greatly appreciate it. There are several ways you can help distribute the survey.

1. Forward the link to the survey to both your professional and personal networks. www.diabetes.org/southasian
2. Include the provided text in your e-newsletter to your constituents or promote it on your website.
3. Print out the attached flier and post it on a bulletin board where people would see it. If you prefer, we can mail you copies of the flier.

Your assistance in spreading the word about this survey will help the American Diabetes Association develop a program that meets the needs of South Asian Americans living with type 2 diabetes and help improve their quality of life.
