SERVING THE DIVERSE SOUTH ASIAN
COMMUNITIES OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Dr. Beth Glenn (UCLA), Zul Surani (Saath),and Dr. Roshan Bastani (Associate Dean of Research, UCLA School of Public Health)

Saath is a Los Angeles-based non-profit organization that uses research and outreach to assist South Asians afflicted with cancer. We have strong partnerships with local temples, mosques, gurdwaras, churches, and cultural organizations.

We are currently performing a joint study with UCLA thanks to the support of the California Breast Cancer Research Program. Through a series of interviews, Saath will assess the needs of South Asian women diagnosed with breast cancers. The collected information will be used to better support the target demographic.
